Redsteel HVAC Maintenance Plan

The Redsteel HVAC Maintenance Plan A/C Tune Up Includes:

1. Verify cooling performance, temperature drop and determine if adjustments are necessary
2. Clean outdoor condenser coil and remove debris from the unit
3. Inspect condenser fan motor operation and lubricate as needed
4. Check amperage of compressor for proper operation
5. Test operation and condition of compressor contactor
6. Inspect and tighten electrical connections
7. Inspect start / run capacitors and relays
8. Inspect for refrigerant leaks
9. Inspect indoor evaporator coil, if accessible
10. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow
11. Inspect blower assembly operation, lubricate and adjust as necessary
12. Evaluate condition of air filter and other indoor air quality accessories
13. Safety test all controls for proper operation
14. Calibrate thermostat and confirm proper operation
15. Evaluate the overall efficiency of the system and inform the customer of equipment condition


The Redsteel HVAC Maintenance Plan Heating Tune Up Includes:

1. Clean heat exchanger and inspect for combustion leaks
2. Test for carbon monoxide
3. Clean burners and adjust for maximum efficiency
4. Clean pilot assembly and inspect thermocouple
5. Inspect flame sensor
6. Examine flue and inspect venting system
7. Verify proper inducer motor operations
8. Verify proper ignition
9. Inspect gas piping and valve
10. Flush condensate drain to protect against overflow
11. Inspect blower assembly operation, lubricate and adjust as necessary
12. Evaluate condition of air filter and other indoor air quality accessories
13. Safety test all controls for proper operation
14. Calibrate thermostat and confirm proper operation
15. Evaluate the overall efficiency of the system and inform the customer of equipment condition

Terms and Conditions of the Redsteel HVAC Maintenance Plan:

  • Service on air conditioning units, including emergency services, will be performed during normal established business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Service on heating units, including emergency services, will be performed during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., if a heat source is available.
  • Redsteel HVAC Services, Inc. (the “Company”) reserves the right to reject any agreement or piece of equipment if, upon inspection by a service technician is found in such condition that continued service will be unsatisfactory to either party. Company may cancel agreement at any time. In the event the Company cancels the agreement, a refund will be made to the customer for a prorated portion of the annual cost of the plan. The prorated amount depends on the work already performed during the term of the plan.
  • The Company disclaims the implied warranty that the services performed by it will, in all cases, provide protection against mechanical system breakdown or failure. Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Company is not an insurer and no insurance coverage is covered herein. The Company will not be responsible for direct damages (indirect losses or injuries), illness or injury caused by delays, failure to service, unavailability of parts, labor difficulties any other conditions beyond the control of the Company. Any charges for the cost of expediting parts faster than normal supplier delivery are not covered by the plan and will be billed separately.
  • Service will be substantially as described in this agreement, and not for coverage, parts or items not specifically listed herein. The Company shall not be responsible for costs of services or parts that the customer has others provide. The Company will provide service during normal business hours, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.(excluding holidays), except in case of an emergency. An emergency is defined as anytime a failure to make prompt repairs that can cause damage to another part of the homeowner’s premises, or is necessary to protect the health and safety of the occupant. The homeowner agrees to pay for any services rendered, such as, but not limited to services ordered after hours when not an emergency, false alarms, fires, repairs due to abuse of the equipment, corrections due to improper installation, theft or acts of nature, which are not covered by this agreement.
  • If a bill is not paid within 10 days, the Company is not required to render any additional services under this agreement. There shall be no liability for any reason on the part of the Company for work done by anyone other than an employee of Redsteel HVAC Services, Inc. If it is obvious the system(s) have been altered, repaired or serviced by someone other than Redsteel HVAC Services, Inc., further coverage under the plan is voided and no service will be provided under this agreement.
  • The customer shall provide a safe working condition around the appliance(s). The Company will not be required to perform plan services until any and all asbestos hazards are eliminated and the Company at its sole discretion determines there are no safety issues.
  • This agreement does not cover the cost of labor or parts due to fire, flood, thawing or cleaning clogged, frozen or coagulated fuel lines when outside temperatures are below freezing.
  • This agreement does not cover repairs to the line voltage wiring, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, electronic air cleaners, draft boosters, power vent assemblies, direct vent draft assemblies, heat exchangers, inaccessible equipment, set back thermostats, or other equipment or parts not specifically listed above, or work that the company is not permitted by law to perform, such as piping or plumbing work not associated with the heating and air conditioning system.
  • This agreement does not cover repairs due to the following: any preexisting damage, damage or failure from flood, fire, storm, freezing or other abnormal causes that may affect the normal operation of the system, thermostat improperly set or blown circuit breaker.
  • This agreement does not cover direct damage by the occupants or others or secondary damage s, or loss of property, caused by conditions beyond anyone’s control. This agreement does not cover removal, disposal, remedial or other costs of compliance with any environmental or other laws, rules or regulations beyond the allowances above.
  • Annual tune ups are performed during regular working hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Redsteel HVAC Services, Inc will make three (3) attempts to schedule tune ups. Redsteel HVAC Services, Inc is not responsible for tune ups not performed due to lack of availability of homeowner. Scheduling is the sole responsibility of the homeowner.
  • Terms and conditions are subject to change at the company’s discretion.
  • Homeowner understands this is an annual contract broken down into monthly payments and automatically renews on the anniversary date unless the homeowner gives notice 30 days prior to anniversary date.

 Other benefits of the Redsteel HVAC Maintenance Plan:

  • Preferred service times Fees for all repairs and diagnostics will be discounted by 15%
  • An annual $50 credit towards a new heating and cooling system installed by Redsteel HVAC Servicing, Inc. for each year you have a Service Agreement ($500 maximum)
